Honua Kai is a luxury beachfront resort property located on North Kaanapali Beach. Honua Kai was developed and built in 2008/2009. Amenities include a full-service spa, bell and valet service, a gourmet market, multiple swimming pools and hot tubs, and Duke’s Beach House Restaurant is located onsite with beautiful ocean views. Onsite vacation rental management is available through Outrigger, though the owner can also choose to use a private management company. There are 635 units across two buildings – the Konea Building to the north, and the Hokulani Building to the south consisting of studios, 1 bedroom, 2 bedrooms, and 3 bedroom suites with full kitchens and in-unit laundry. Luana Gardens Villas were built in 2018 – 2020, the last phase of development on Kaanapali Beach. Luana Gardens is made up of 72 three-bedroom three-bath luxury residences with over 2,000 SF of living space plus 500 SF of lanai, a single-car garage, and tandem dedicated parking. The buildings are all 2-story buildings with no elevators and the floor plans are all single-level. Each of the three enclaves has a swimming pool, hot tub, fire pit, and access to all the amenities of Honua Kai. The Luana Villas can also be rented as vacation rentals on a short-term nightly basis.
